NEW IDEA - INTERACTIVE DIGITAL COACHING FOR SPORT

Firstly here are some links which inspired this idea:

1) Development & evaluation of interactive digital video learning resources to support undergraduate students’ in coaching and leadership Sport & Outdoor Education

2) http://www.rauschstudios.com/ - Not up and running yet, but sounds like an interesting site

3) A Digital Coaching Revolution

4) http://www.digitalcoach.com/

5) Football interactive Software / Coaching

6) http://www.motioncoachonline.com/

Basically from my research on interactivity within sport, I am considering ways in which coaching / teaching of a sport if possible using digital technologies.

From my personal experience of being coached in a variety of sports and through monitoring my own mistakes via programs such as motion coach online, I feel that there is definitely room for improvement.

Maybe it is possible to get an extremely accurate interactive coaching software which works on feedback e.g.

- Coaching a person to kick a football

- Person continues to fail the correct technique

- Person is linked to a software which tells them what they are doing wrong, possibly even small electrical impulses are sent to areas of the body which need to be corrected.

- Person begins to succeed

- Person can monitor improvement / body shape / technique using software

Ok so its just an idea, however with a lot more research I am sure that this will develop!
