I haven't really had the time to focus on my dissertation, however over the Christmas period I hope to develop a solid idea.
I believe that the best route at the moment is to continue from last years Essay based on post modernism and the development of different era's on film/moving image.
Through inspiration from the design future brief I feel that I could tackle a broader area, for example the effect of different era's such as modernism / post modernism / pseudo modernism on technology and society.
So here are potential essay questions:
"How has society reacted to the development of different technologies over the last 100 years?"
"Compare contemporary technologies with past technologies, how have we adapted as a society?
"Technology is improving everyday, how do you see this affecting society in the future?"
A good way to tackle these question is to look at the history and effect of technologies on society .
Not a bad starting point, I am generally interesting in this so I am glad to say I will be writing about something I am truly inspired by.

It's registered with Streamline.net, who also handle my hosting. It was a package deal. I really recommend them, they are one of the cheapest I found, have an excellent support system, and ftp services are included.
Yes, my site is all flash, although I'm thinking of changing it to html/css as soon as I have the time.
